Community Services

The Burns Lake Vet Clinic has always been dedicated to the community we love, live and play in. Some of the community services we provide and/or support include:

• Charity veterinary care for the Lakes Animal Friendship Society, and our own Simond’s Sanctuary cat shelter, which we operate on site for stray cats found and rescued in the area.
• Organize and execute an annual fund-raising garage sale for the Mother Millie Fund which supports veterinary treatment for stray cats and injured animals.
• Maintenance of a lost and found listing for cats and dogs as well as a looking for/have list of pets.
• Live traps are kept on hand to loan to the public to capture stray cats.
